protecting the grill, but it is too difficult to get it on. The fit is just so tight. You practically need to be an engineer to get it on. It takes a good 10 to 15 minutes for me to situate the thing just right every time.

The cover is well made and it fits snugly over the whole thing. I read some reviews about the other covers which seemed to have issues with wind blowing the cover off. Though we have not had any strong winds, I doubt anything less than a hurricane could pull the cover off. If you have the Performer grill, I highly recommend this cover for it.
