The gold kettle from Weber’s is an amazing purchase for someone who is looking for a combination of class and utility. It is formatted in a very sleek way and the food cooked is sumptuous. The lid and the bowl of the kettle is of top quality steel that is enameled with porcelain. This results in uniform radiation of heat as well as survival of grill when it is left out in the cold. The area of cooking is quite mammoth for cooking even half a dozen steaks and a dozen burgers. The classic shape of the grills keeps the flare-ups to limited proportions.
User-friendliness was on the mind of Weber while it designed the grill. The nickel-plated grill from Weber has a couple of hinged-side openings. This allows for further addition of charcoal briquettes. While out of use, the lid can safely be hung on the bowl. This gives the grill a smart appearance. The long-lasting grill has a steel bowl coated with porcelain. The bowl and the lid are not vulnerable to fading or rusting or even peeling. The vent and ash catcher is as rust-proof. The grill has strong tripod foundation and handles and wheels. This makes it very easy to be manipulated. Weber uses a one-touch system of hygiene which is a solid system of lever-triggered blades. You can work without making your hands dirty. Weber’s 31 page guide inclusive of a fantastic recipe booklet is a quality addition. It talks about grilling the pork chops and bratwurst and much more.

We’ve been using Weber grills for years and the One-Touch Gold is the best yet. Cooks well, durable and easy to clean with the one touch/ash catcher combo. Cooks better than propane units and as easy, if not easier, to use. Start the charcoal with a chimmey unit (Weber makes a nice one for about $15)- No starter fluid or electric coils –, buy the charcoal (Kingsford) at warehouse clubs & home centers — 48# for $10, and you’re good to go. Weber has terrific customer service too — phone and web.
