Everything it’s supposed to be. Good fit and finish, good seal on door and joints and no complaints. Two minor issues and other people had the same experience. First, the charcoal grill does interfere with the lower vent disc tang which protrude through the vent holes. I fixed this by bolting on a small angle brace elevating the grill about 1/2″. Secondly, my water bowl had a poor finish on bottom and I will be asking weber for a new one
It cooked exceedingly well and I am pleased.

I have burned out my first old model and am half through my 2nd old model. I was pleased to find they developed a 22.5 model. I wish they would have asked me before going ahead. The “plastic cover” on the old one was too short and allowed rain into the bowl. I found a bigger universal cover to work.
Also, the bottom “lip” of the lid fits INSIDE the top of the barrel and the bottom lip on the barrel fits INSIDE the fire housing. Both of these allow rain to run inside the cooker, thereby causing water problems. Other than that, I obviously use and enjoy the cooker and have done a whole bunch of BBQ Ribs, Chicken, Briskets, Butts, Shoulders, etc. When they change that lip to the outside to shed water, I’ll buy another one.
